I have a 2002 Chevy Avalanche 2500 with dash lights out. Not only did these lights go out but the power locks also stopped working at about the same time. Not sure if that is coincidence or what. All the gauges work fine but don't light. Same with the lights for the fan and temp adjustments. All lights went out at the same time. Could you tell me where to start. thanks

SOURCE: 2002 Avalanche gas gauge problems

Gm has a real problem with fuel tank sending units. That is what is wrong. You need a fuel tank sending unit. You can only get them aftermarket with the whole fuel pump module, but you can buy them seperate if you buy it from the dealer.

SOURCE: THE OIL PRESSURE GAUGE DROPS TO ZERO AND LIGHTS ON

poor oil circulation may need either more oil or a new oil pump, any other symptoms?

It could just be the pressure sensor, as this is cheaper get it looked at first.

2002 chevy avalanche died at a stop light and now wont start back up. it just cranks.

Those are known for having the fuel pump go out. Take the gas cap off, open the little steel door with a screwdriver and have someone turn the key forward, not cranking it over, just turn it until all the dash lights come on and see if you can hear the fuel pump kick on for about 2 seconds. You definitely need 2 people to do this. If you can hear the fuel pump then its probally not getting spark.
