1987 Jeep Wrangler. Stalls when coming into a stop. Have replaced: both onboard computers. Coil, wires, cap, rotor, plugs, carb, fuel filter, fuel pump, ignition switch. Sometimes if you put it back into neutral, it will restart immediately. When not doing that...if you check, you've got no spark. What gives?

Did you check the fuel filter? Did you check pump pressure? A faulty pump or a partially plugged filter can do this. Obviously filter is the first thing... it's easy to do and is often neglected, likely overdue for service anyhow! There are other things that can also cause your problem but I'd look at the common stuff first!
Good luck

Does it start right back up after it stalls? make sure all conections are tight at fuel pump, sounds like it could be loosing ground at pump, or hot lead is loosing its connection at pump. Also fuel pump relay could be getting hot and quits working.

It does sound like a vacuum leak. Get a can of WD-40 and start spraying around the carb. It will rev up, and U can pin point the loose vacuum hose, are crack vacuum hose.
