2003 jaguar x type - what is correct tire pressure?
SOURCE: need key cut for jaguar x-type
hey cheeriospapy,
Unfortunately the key you bought on-line is going to be no good, jaguar keys cannot be cut by any after-market company. When ever a customer comes into the dealership he has to give the vin number to the parts department. They then send an order to the company that cuts the keys specifically to the car. Thats why know one will be able to cut it.
They key also has to be programed to the car which the dealership charges .5 hrs worth of labor to do. So needless to say a replacement key is fairly expensive.

Hi
Get a jump start, with a good set of leads.
Connecting + to + Positive to Positive..
Negative to Negative --- to ----, and have your battery tested.
Expect your battery is shot !
Good luck !
John.

SOURCE: 2003 Jaguar S-Type, programming a key fob
If its a new key fob the only way you can program it is this the factory scan tool, u'll have to take it to a dealership for them to do this and they will charge you .5 hrs for labor.only x-types can be programmed without the jaguar software. Im guessing it will cost you between 40 and 50 bucks to have them program it.
SOURCE: how do i fix code po420 & po430 on 2003 jaguar
Both these codes relate to Catalyst efficiency below threshold on banks 1+2. This is normally caused by a combustion fault. This fault may be shown due to a faulty sensor in either air imput or exhaust systems, Get the memory read at a dealers or good garage. If you had a serious problem the car would not drive well.
Hope this helps - good luck.
SOURCE: Can not remove lug nut caps 2003 x -type jaguar
The solution is to always Hand Torgue these nuts with antiseize to mx 55 lbs. The SHop boys are notorious for overtorquing in the name of Safety. After rotation or new tires, etc, insist that they hand torque the nuts.Properly torqued you should have no problem and be able to loosen them on the highway in a pinch.. PS put a cross bar lug wrench in the trunck or a 18" breaker with deepwell 6 pt socket.
it is located behind the wheel hub of each tire in front...it rest inside the hub and held by one torque head bolt and the other end connects to the sensor harness.

Under the lid in the center console, between the front seats, you should find the label with the information relating to the tyre pressures
