i think the fuel filter is in the fuel tank and is not serviceable through routine maint. only when replacing fuel pump

remove the rear seat bottom cushion , and remove the fuel tank access cover , remove gas cap to relieve any pressure , remove ground strap and fuel lines from the filter , remove filter ,, to reinstall reverse procedure . cheers.

check on the cap of the fuel filter housing i think its 28 nm which is 20.65 lb-ft
