I put the window down. when i pushed the button

the window came off the track. you need to take the door apart and put it back on the track.

get a new regulator/motor at primechoice.com for $50. When they unravel they are toast.

cluch plate to be replaced, flaw in materail caused plate to shatter!

depends what you mean by funny sound.if its a grinding or squealing noise then you will need brake work.you should have it checked out.

I believe your window winder (scissor lift) unit needs replacing, I hope this helps....

The regulator is broken.

a metallic grinding sound is probably the noise you hear. this indicates the need for a new (or salvage) window regulator (your window lift mechanism). I usually suggest a dealer part and get a local glass shop or your favorite mechanic to replace. If you've been inside a door panel, this may be your next project.

It sounds like there is somthing wrong with the window regulatior ( the motor in the door that moves the window)
1.Remove the inner door pannel (all parts)
2. hook up the window controls & try moving window up or down, make sure window is moving propley in tracks and siscor arms are not bound up.
3.If all is well with the above stuff, just replace the window regulatior and test befor you reasembil the door pannel
