ABS light comes ON after start. Last week the ABS warninglight suddenly lighted up after starting the engine. Until now the sensors have been checked (all measured ca. 1000 Ohms, so they appear to be OK). Anyone?
It's supposed to come on. It's the self check feature.
It's if the light then fails to extinguish very soon after that you have a problem in which case you need to get the system thoroughly investigated to find the fault.
You can eliminate other common causes yourself though by physically checking the ABS wiring as much as you can, paying special attention to any connector plugs and where the harness passes through bulkheads and cable clips.
If after starting, the light goes out, then all is fine, its just the computer taking its time to check the system.
