How do i replace the clutch cable

I believe your clutch is hydraulic on your Prelude, at least my 91 Prelude is, which means you have a master cylinder and a slave cylinder. Are you sure it's cable operated?

indicates that there is air in the system
constant movement of the clutch is removing the air but after leaving for for a period , air is again getting back in the system

Where is the Master and Slave Cylinder located on my 2000 Honda Prelude

Might help if you gave a clue as to whether you are asking about the clutch or the brakes, they both have both. Open the hood and look directly in front of where you push when you push the brake or clutch. Mounted on that wall under the hood you will see two reservoirs, one is master for brake and the other master for clutch. There is a slave for the clutch attached to the bell housing where it attaches to the engine, and each wheel's brake has a slave for the brakes.

Some companies have made a shared master cylinder, so there is some possibility there would be but one master cylinder. You would know that if both systems have failed together.

Sometimes when driveing u cant get in any gear turn it off put in gear then its ok for a while new mastercylinder fitted

The hydraulice clutch has two cylinders. The Master and Slave. The slave is mounted on the trans bell housing. If you found the master low on fluid, there is a good possibility the slave cylinder is leaking. The slave can also bypass the fluid internally due to piston cup wear within. The slave should be changed when the master is changed out if only for the fact they work togethe. Good Luck. Thanks for using fix-ya.

LOOKING FOR BLEEDER VALVE

Are you talking about the clutch? If so, it is on the front of the cylinder under some wires and stuff. Its a pain to get at but do-able. I used a 1/4 inch drive ratchet and mid depth socket when I replaced mine and had to bleed the system. If your having a problem with bleed down of the hydrolics replace the master and the slave. I did just the master and ended up replacing the slave too.

1992 Honda Prelude Clutch

Either your master or slave cylinder is leaking (if hydraulic) Replace leaking cylinder with repair kit and blead the system. More serious it could be a problem on the clutch assembly.
