Engine Check Light on

Try the temperature sending unit.

it has 2 fuse boxes. one is in the engine bay and the one you want is
under the dash, left of the steering wheel.
you will need fine needle nose pliers, a light and your glasses.

Idling goes down it is about .8 and engine shake little.some times work excellentI replace spark plugs with new but it is same.any sugestions?

PO420 is a Catalyst Efficiency Beloe Threshold (Bank 1)
I'd go to AutoZone or your auto parts store to get a printout of the possible fixes to this problem.

The check engine light can come on for any number of different reasons. To make a guess over the internet is at most just a wild guess. The best thing to do is to take it back to the place you bought it and have them retrieve the code(s). that way you will know what the problem is and how to proceed to fix it.

easiest place to start is to stop at your local autozone parts house, or even some shops will scan your car and tell you what the code causing the light to come on for free.

there is but you would have to rewire day time driving light module,should have garge do kinda compalcated. good luck,

no..but you will need to remove the strut from the vehicle which requires removing both large bolt connectors from the upper mounting arm of the knuckle for the strut...also remove the 3 upper mounting nuts in the engine compartment tower. Strut assembly then will so into a special press that compresses the spring in order to dis-assemble.

you have to go to a garage equiped with a scanner or code reader to retrieve the code that was stored in the car computer, and then resume to repair the problem accordingly. your car now is running in safe mode (not the best scenario)

check the mass air flow sensor it is hooked with air cleaner
