Replaced both o2 sensors, IAC valve and motor, TPS sensors all withing last 60 days. Had code p0171 , but now the light is back on. I found the upstream O2 sensor had came unplugged, now it is back in and I reset the computer. If the light comes back on with same code, what might be the cause?
ANy tips on where to look on the motor for a vacuum leak. It is now popping the error code p0108 which is for the MAP sensor. I have no clue where that is either.ANy tips on where to look on the motor for a vacuum leak. It is now popping the error code p0108 which is for the MAP sensor. I have no clue where that is either.

If the CEL comes back on you probably have a vacuum leak somewhere that is causing the system to run lean. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for using FixYa!

System Too Lean P0171 Clean the MAF sensor and IAC valve with MAF cleaner Inspect all vacuum and PCV hoses, replace/repair as required. Inspect all hoses and connections in the air intake system. Inspect and/or test the intake manifold gaskets for leakage. Check for a dirty fuel filter and proper fuel pressure.
As a last resort, replace O2 sensor
System Too Lean P0174 Error code P0174 is described as System Too Lean (Bank 2). This means there is incorrect ratio of air and fuel on the car's engine system, specifically on Bank 2 of the Cylinder. “Too Lean” means there is too much oxygen in the exhaust.
Hi Michael, After fixing errors you need to reset your computer by disconnecting the battery for a minute or two, Also you'll need your radio code to reset your radio, I hope this helped...........CHEERS..
i have replaced an O2 sensor and had similar failure after 1500 miles.
I removed it, chkd it, reinstalled it and it ran fine.
P0133 is related to slow response of O2 sensor. P1134 is mfg specific so google that for ur car.
SAE J2012 Revised DEC2007 lists Diagnostic Test Code (DTC)P0133 as "O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response Bank 1 Sensor 1"
This code basically means that the upstream oxygen sensor on bank one of your engine is not responding as quickly as it should to changes in oxygen leavels in the exhaust.
The usual causes of this is an oxygen sensor that is just plain worn out (if it has a lot of miles on it) or an oxygen sensor that is contaminated by engine oil or antifreeze leaks causing these fluids to be burned in the exhaust (like bad piston rings, defective PCV valve, blown head gasket, etc.).
In any case, the oxygen sensor needs to be replaced. However it should be noted that if it is caused by contamination like that described above, replacing it will only result in a new oxygen sensor doing the same thing if the cause of the contamination is not repaired.
P0401 is EGR valve, low circulation detected. P0420 Catalyst system. P0133 is O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1. All these codes are emissions related, so i would start with the EGR valve, it's probably clogged with carbon. The catalytic converter could be also, check that for excessive backpressure. The oxygen sensor can be tested, replace if needed. Good luck, i hope this helps.
From what I can find in my book - they are (generic code)
P 0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction
P 0133 O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P 0137 O2 Sensor Cicuit Low Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
P 0131 O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor)
P 0171 System Too Lean (Bank 1)
Could not find these codes in the GM section - that is why I went with the Generic codes
check the mass air flow sensor there maybe dirt on the filiment inside the sensor causing false readings. cleaning or replacing it may make the codes go away.
