The fuse that powers your cigarette lighter port also powers the clock. If only the clock is dead then it is not a fuse issue. This is a very common problem with the 96-05 Corolla clocks. The clocks are very prone to internal failure. I offer a reasonable repair service with a lifetime guarantee, check it out:

The clock will not light up and the radio will not turn on. Then as I was driving the clock came on and the radio worked for about 5 min and all went off again.

Under the hood there is some. Not sure about your application, but it might control interior stuff too. It will be a bigger amperage than normally inside the car though

Check your fuse more then likely it blew. Car radio Clock and Cigarette lighter all connected to the same fuse.
