04 Yukon is having trouble accelerating sometimes..

I have been having trouble with my '04 Yukon. I'll be driving and long and all the sudden it'll stop accelerating, it will only go 35mph for a couple a minutes and if I turn off the car it will reset itself and I don't have trouble. The other day this happened and went on for about 20 minutes. Had it tested and it came back as knock sensor and low fuel pressure. Could it be the knock sensor causing this trouble?

Not the knock sensor
A mechanically bound fuel pump, could though, thus low fuel pressure

Do you have any warning lights on the dashboard? This sounds like a fuel issue. This could be a faulty sensor in the fuepl system. Get it plugged into an OBD2 diagnostic system or an OBD2 scanner to see if it shows any Trouble Codes. These will give clues as to what and where the issue is. If you are going to a mechanic to do this ask for a price at 4 or 5 different places as the prices charged can be VERY different. Comment below with the Trouble codes and I'll try to help you more.

1996 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 L has trouble accelerating

often times the engine needs to warm up to normal operating temperature. this varies from makes and models. if you cant wait that long, having it idle for approximately 5 - 10 minutes should at least lessen the acceleration problem, but the longer you wait the better it will be on the engine.

It sounds like your battery is going bad. When you accelerate the alternator spins faster generating more electricity. Take it to a auto parts store and they can do a free test to confirm what needs to be replaced.

04 gmc yukon heater air cold passanger side.

If this happens when you are idle, and then you get hot air as you drive, most likely you have low coolant and it only cycles as you drive. Get approved dextrom gmc coolat and cap off your coolant it is most likely low.
