Lift the rear door, remove the rear tail light lense, replace the bulb and replace the tail light on the car.... once the screws have been removed, be sure all of them are removed,,, the lens/light cover may have to be pried off with a flat blade screw driver.... place a folded paper towel of something else to protect the paint.... before prying...... Check the owners manual for instructions.

SOURCE: Have a 2006 Honda Odyssey Touring - tail lights

dealer is and ***, there will be a fuse somewhere for that area, what else does not work, normally each sidelight is a separate curcuit, front and rear on each side on same curcuit, hence would guess bad earth curcuit in the unit. email honda and report dealer and ask same

Where is the rear license plate light fuse on a 2007 Honda Odyssey

Your license plates work on the same curcit as your tail lights so therefore have the same fuse, if you tail lights are working and your plate lights not it isn't the fuse. check the globe and contacts where the globe and globe holder fits.

A bit of penetrating oil often does the trick.

Removing rear light assembly on honda odyssey 2006

Yes, there is a "spear point" plastic clip that is still engaged into a socket type holder in the front outboard portion of the tail lamp assembly. Pry gently with a tape wrapped screwdriver at the front outboard corner of the assembly and the clip will release. You will then be able to see how the clip works and will be able to align and engage it first when replacing the tail lamp assembly.

2003 Honda Odyssey Brake light replacement

open the rear hatch. Between the tail light housing and the rear hatch opening there is a trim strip with two flush fitted flap doors. Insert a small straight blade screwdriver into the small slot on the tail light side of the flap. Pry gently inboard and the small flap will open (the hinge side of the flap is on the side of the rear hatch opening.) Now you can remove the screws that hold the tail lamp assembly in place. Finally, there is still a "spear point" clip that fits into a socket near the front outboard corner of the assembly. Gently pry with a tape wrapped screwdriver (avoids scratches) and force the assembly straight back. The clip should release and free the assembly so you can change the bulb(s).
