SOURCE: Subaru Impreza gas cap door won't open

If there is one - In trunk - directly behind the gas filler door - behind trunkliner (carpet)
The cable should not have any problems... use a partner to hold the door release and try and pry it open with your fingers.
The spring popper may be bad.
Try this if you dont have an assistant :D

I had this problem with my STI -- easy to fix by bending the little metal on the inside of the fuel door that provides the spring action to open the door. 5 second fix

SOURCE: subaru impreza automatic transmission won t shift

Try replacing the transmission filter and the trannie fluid. Mine would only go in reverse, and now it drives pretty well. This year has a screw on filter. Hope this helps

SOURCE: indicator lights

so flipping the indicator switch doesn't affect the signals lights? It sounds like the electronic flasher module has gone bad. This will be located under the dash near the steering column (don't know exact location as it varies on car). The unit will be labeled

07 Impreza Lost the key brought a replacement, Subaru still has my Impreza trying to reprogram It started fine before, now I replaced full set up Subaru keep telling me it won't read the codes

Friend, just take the car to a locksmith and have him cut and program an aftermarket key for you. It'll cost less too. See, these dealerships only know to go by the code, or by the book you might say, when a locksmith has done this for so long he knows all the tricks. Trust that locksmith friend, he's bonded for this stuff.

My 2003 subaru imprezza WRX has a red key light on the dashboard which goes off when I insert the key. What is it telling me ? Thanks

I'm guessing it has something to do with a security system and since it's on the dashboard, it's a factory installed security system.

My 1999 Ford Expedition has a red flashing 'security' lamp that appears when the vehicle is parked and the key is not inserted. It's normal to see it.

I changed thefront pads on a 2003 Subaru Impreza

you may have air in the line, bleed the front brake lines, but the problem might be the new pads, the old pads may have been made of softer material & the new ones may be a harder material but apart from that there should not be any problem....hope this helps.....cheers

Subaru Impreza WRX 2003 won't start - starter will spin, but nothing doing. Bad solenoid? or gear gone bad, or meshing issue? Something else?

check all wiring to starter, if all ok you have faulty bendix in starter. replace the starter and your problem will be corrected

Clutch problem

When a clutch goes out, it first gives a warning by slipping for a period of time. If not corrected, eventually there will be "nothing there".
