Need wiring schematics for a 1996 Jag. XJ6 can't find it anywhere to include the wire harness

If you go to faxonautoliterature you can get the dealer service manual for that specific Jag. It should have the complete wire harness diagram in it. A quick e-mail can confirm it. Or they also have a reprint wiring diagram from a Jag manual that you can also get for yours. I have used them before and had excellent service. Hope this helps.

not that be hard.
buy both FSM,
put both schematic before your eyes.
you are jumping many generatations.

why not just move the long block and leave car stock.
odd why are you making this 1000x harder than need be.....????
do not move manifolds, just block and head long block.
the ECU/PCM is totally different.

Just failed smog with slightly high HC. the item that looks like a dstributor has a large rang of adjustment and looks like it can be adjusted. Keep in mind this is a 1996 jag xj6 with a crank trigger ign....

the car you have is the jag x300 series the main probs with this car are the lambda sensors and/ or the catalysts and you will get high emissions. to help sort this out you need someone with ids or wds software to help to check the fault codes or monitor the live data the ign timing is controlled by the ecu lower rh A post! its not adjustable

Where is the starter located. son ripped out wire harness, repaired it, now im in re install mode

its on the bell housing .have a jag for spares in the yard ,trouble is you can buy a jag like this for less than 500pounds so its not worth repairing .Buy another one use it then when its annual test is due ,junk it and go to auctions and buy another

02 sensors wiring

The yellow and white wires take any white wire.I dont now why they dont tell you that.And just fit black to black and grey to grey that simple good luck pippall.

Jag xj6 right indicator Jag been seen by various garages, diagnostics done, no luck, also tried another combined lamp control module still no luck.

sounds like a fault with the hazard switch,i could be wrong and no doubt i will be proved so but i would look at this first as the wires pass through this switch after leaving the indicator switch,
