I would think it would be far cheaper to repair this engine than to buy another one. Remove the head and see what damage was done. It may not be as bad as you think and you may only have a couple of bent valves or a busted piston. You won't know until you open it up.
Work for audi allways bend all valves on s3. cheaper labour wise to replace head about £1500 i think. would consider buying off you as a optiobn [email protected]
Depends if the cylender head valves came in contact with the pistons or not. If you can rent a boroscope and pull the plugs and find no damage its worth repairing, or just take the head off. If the valve have hit the soft piston tops it gets expensive replacing rods and the head.
