The standard 2006 Malibu has EPSA (electronic power steering assist). There is no reservoir. Power steering function is accomplished by an electronic motor attatched to the lower steering column.

How do you know its low then? it's there in the engine compartment, its usually set in a small black plastic box towards the front off most engines because its run by the serpentine belt, so follow the belt on your car it rolls right over the power steering unit. it"ll have a circular knob with small half moon cuts on the outside to make it easier to grip, and right on the top, in yellow writing, it'll say power steering fluid only! Hydraulic fluid or transmission fluid, dont put brake fluid in there..always in a pinch you can pour transmission fluid in. Now if its leaking i highly recommend "Lucas" stop leak power steering fluid, but only to top it off dont poor in the whole bottle at once because this stuff works too good! and could lock up your steering. Everytime its low just top it off again.
can you rate my answer.thank you.

Where to put power steering fluid in a 2011 chevy malibu ltz v-6

The reason you cannot locate a fluid reservoir is because there is none. Your car has an electric power steering. If the problem continues to persist, you may have to replace the power steering pump.

I have a 2006 malibu and the power steering light comes on and it is hard to steer. please help. Thanks

If the power steering pump is low on fluid, The belt is broke or came off, or the pump just stopped working, it would cause those symptoms.
First check the belt.
If the belt is there, check the fluid level in the pump, if its low add some PSF and check again.
if the fluid level is up to factory standards and you have went through this check list,
the pump is bad.

Where do you put power steering fluid in a 2007 malibu Ltz.

Power Steering Fluid Power steering pumps are ordinarily lubricated with power steering fluid. Use the correct type for the vehicle. Check the owner's manual if you are unsure.

Usually it's a belt driven power steering fluid pump that has hoses that lead to the rack and pinion steering.

Unscrew the cap and add power steering fluid to it there.

I need to add power steering fluid on my 2006 chevy malibu V6 3.5 liter engine were is it located

You will want to verify you have hydraulic power steering. Electronic power steering was an option on Malibu's and this may be why you cannot find the reservoir. The power steering pump would be driven by the belt in the event you have a hydraulic system. Thus making it easy to locate.
