Typically each cylinder has 2 valves the front valve is the intake the back valve is the exhaust.If you haven't already gotten it I highly recommend you get the Haynes or Chilton's repair manual from your vehicle so you have the adjustment specs or priming procedure if you have hydraulic lifters.
