I need a coil in #cylender but need to the fireing

This firing order is molded into the stock intake manifold towards the front (between the water outlet and the carburetor) It is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2; see the attached diagram

I dont understand what your saying...does your bmw have a distributor, or coil pack?? if its distributor your distributor should have a number 1 on it put number one on that lug to the number 1 plug, then clockwise one lug is 3 so you run a wire from there to the number 3 cylender, the third one clockwise is 4, then 2. dont know if i answered what you were asking or not. if not, clarify a little more what your wanting and i will do my best to help.

1=3=4=2=

5.0L HO Firing Order: 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
4.6L Firing Order: 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
3.8L Firing Order: 1-4-2-5-3-6
2.3L Firing Order: 1-3-4-2

Have you changed the spark plugs/wires? A scan will pull up any codes that can narrow the issue as well.

Cmashaft or crank shaft position snesors. Find their location and clean them 1st then re-try.

Firing order is 13726548 coil packs are laid out standing in front of the engine

1 5 4 8

Cylinder's are numbered

4 8
3 7
2 6
1 5

if it is 4 cylender it would be 1-3-4-2 hope this helps!. john
