These aftermarket ASC sunroof are among the best but they do require frequent lubrication and maintenance. Use WD-40 or other penetrating oil anywhere that appears rusty, and use a lightweight grease for all tracks, pivots, and gears. After thoroughly lubricating the tracks, gears, and pivots, check to make sure that the END STOP microswitches are properly adjusted and providing continuity. It is also possible that the controller has failed.

more accurate. if at all.

1: check fuses
2: check voltage at roof motor. (active.) ( if no 12vdc hot wire the motor , does it close now? if no 12vdc the switch(relay) is bad.
3: remove trim and check the mechanism for jamming.
4: remove motor and try to move the drive , by hand, if you can it will close, if you can't, its jammed. if jammed find cause of jam.

If the sunroof is anything like the power windows, the auto function has to be reprogrammed by holding down a bout 5 seconds, up about 5 seconds, down about 5 seconds and up about 5 seconds. I know there is probably a faster way, but since that way works, I wouldn't want to hand out any other kind of advice.

You must remove the electric drive motor located at the front of the sunroof under a plastic cover, then close the glass and reinstall the motor drive.

It controls the sunroof when you turn the car off. If its green the sunroof will close when the car is shut off. If it is read the sunroof will stay in whatever position it is in when the car is turned off.

I had the same problem,pulled the switch down and tried a light tester,when I was checking for current,one of them made it close,havent had any problems after that.approx 1 year.

hold the vent button until the roof has "tilted" completely, then hold the open button until the roof has opened completely. the light that reads ASC should now be green and your sunroof should operate normally.

The sunroof continues to open and close normally from front to back, but the vent stays open.

replace the switch.
