Ur problem may not have been ur battery---was the old battery tested and was the alternator also tested to see if is working correctly and charging the battery-a new full charged battery will let u drive a few miles then die stalling car -have alternator tested as well as checking the electrical connections and wiring

If your battery died while driving and the car cut off while your driving,, your problem is from your alternator!!!,, on a normal working car, you can start, remove ther battery terminals and the car would still run cause the alternator will be powering the car. In your case the alternator isnt working and the car was working on battery power therefore when the battery went dead the car cut off.. Your alternator need \s to be charging between 13.5 and 14.2 volts.. as little as 10 volts will keep the vehicle running.. I'd suggest you have the alternator replaced.

Died on freeway and would not restart ? When you turned the key what happened ? Did the starter engage and spin the engine ? Or nothing happened . Why did you charge the battery ? Did you drain it trying to start it or it drained when driving the vehicle an it killed it ? Before replacing parts did you have it diagnosed or did you just replace parts ?

Ok so I bought a 2002 Nissan altima my husband drove it 15 miles filled up gas and drove approx 5 and it died - bad fuel pump.... We replaced the fuel pump but still having drive for awhile and die issues....

theres nothing wrong with the fuel pump..did you test the mass air floww sensor or have the egr valve replaced..it will save you trouble from keeping your 2002 nissan altima from dying out.

Elictrical system flashes on/off, then dies.

when you were driving, after replacing the battery, if u felt the car loosing some horse power, until it dies, then YES its your alternator, it is not recharjing the battery with power, so the car keep on sucking the battery until it dies, try to check your alternator, or check your the plug "located on the alternator itself"
