2000 Volvo s80. My directional signal and high beam have stopped working. The fuse is good, the bullbs are good. can it be a relay switch? If so, how do I repair it?
the moonroof does not work unless i put power directly to the motor. i have changed all switches, fuses, relays, and the control module that i can find. and still no power. I know the motor is good. does anyone know what the problem is?the moonroof does not work unless i put power directly to the motor. i have changed all switches, fuses, relays, and the control module that i can find. and still no power. Re: 2000 Volvo s80. My directional signal and high
Hi
It is NOT the relay as the relay for the flasher and beam are seperate.
Its the switch consol in the steering that needs to be looked into.

First check around all the lights (front, rear, headlight, turn signal, parking, fog, etc..) for loose, broken, or bare wires, and/or loose , broken, or bad connectors. Any of these could cause the lighting to short. If everything is in good working order, then the problem will most likely lie with switch inside the column (the lever).
check fuses and relays -check for power and proper connection under steering column for directional /hi/lo beam switch if no power possible short in wiring if good switch is bad needs replacement
If i am correct, You have a fuse for low beams...Silly huh....... Well give it a check and you will se that you ahve fuse for high beams and low beams. Good luck.
