The dome light is stuck on and the door ajar light is on on the dash all doors are shut along with tailgate glass. Had this prob once before with the tailgate ?

most likely its your door switch stuck on.

Is the rear glass / door ajar light lit on the instrument cluster ?

One of the switches on the doors or tailgate are broken. Look at the switches (located on the door or the door pillars) and see if one of them has been broken or stuck. This switch turns lights off when depressed.

Try WD 40 before doing anything major. It just worked for me.

check all door switchs the most comun is the driver side maybe is fail or disconected and fuses too,

Each door has a door ajar switch in the latch. You can either take some WD40 lube each latch opening and shutting each one 4 to 5 times after spraying, or you can replace the switch

The door switch provides a ground to the dome light... so there is no danger to you if you want to attempt a removal of the switch. A rusted or shorted wire in the door switch (of any door) will keep the dome light on.

spray the door latch with WD - 40 on both doors then open and close multiple times. Sometimes they get stuck ond this help if they free up once a month should keep it away

check each door jamb button (can't think of the correct term). close all doors except one... push the button manually... does the interior light go off... if it does move on to the next door. that will narrow down where the problem is... or it should. it also could be the relay for the interior lights located on the fuse panel under the dash.
