HELP!!!!!!!!! Gmc envoy 2003 A few weeks ago my abs brake light

HELP!!!!!!!!! A few weeks ago my abs brake light would comeon and off while I was driving for no reason. Then a few days ago when it came on my engine just turned off like I ran out of gas! I restarted it and it did it again moments later! I put gas in it and it ran ok for like 15 miles then it sis it again! What is going on I need help!

Are you not getting a check engine light ? Take your suv to auto zone and get them to check it for codes and post the codes I will check back later to see what codes you posted they will help in finding the problem. Thank you

Ask a garage to reset your computer, could be a recurring trip fault causing the car to shut down.

Clearing it might solve the problem - if not, the fault codes will tell you what the problem is!

Trying changing the wheel hub I had the same problem on my envoy

The brake and abs light just came on in my 2003 GMC envoy 4x4 what would cause it and where to start looking

Fist pull the code from your onboard computer with a OB2 scanner, that will give you the best clue, then clean and check your wheel sensors especially on the front axle. Then have the abs module checked. Most likely it is the wheel sensors, If you have a lot of brake wear they could be dirty or miss gapped, I would start there

05 envoy wont shift to 3rd gear speedo quit working abs light and brake light on too help

have code retrieve it is normal for transmission won't shift if there is no speed to pcm
ABS light on there is no speed for him too and brake light
look for wire at transmission for speed sensor or why no speed sensor not working

What is abs light

The ABS warning light is an indication that something in the Automatic Braking System (ABS) has failed and caused the system to stop operating. 2003 gmc envoy rear lights won't turn off

As for the brake lights i would think that the brake light switch is faulty.As for the parking lights i think that the parking light relay is sticking.Switch the relay with another one in the fuse panel with the same part number to see if thats the problem or not.

2003 GMC Envoy have no brake lights, only the top light on the gate works, can you help thanks

First and easiest we need to check for power going to the rear lights at the plug that goes into the tail light housing. There is a board that the lights plug into that goes bad. The Envoy uses separate brake and turn bulbs so the 3rd brake and the two side are on the same circuit.
