Where is the crank shaft sensor located in a 1999 oldsmobile intrigue with the 3.5 liter engine?

its on the top of the motor in the front by the cam shafts.

on the 3.4 liter engine, it's behind the harmonic balancer--you have to remove the crankshaft pulley/balancer to see it.

if you have the 2.4 liter, it's just above the oil filter:

The crankshaft position sensor is located just above the starter on the engine block.Hope this helps.Good luck.

The crank shaft position sensor is located just above the starter on the front of the engine block.If your not sure what you can do is purchase one and then look at the connector end to see if it looks the same.Hope this helps.Good luck.

The crank sensor is located on the leftside of engine at the base of oil level indicator, heres a diagram to show you, the diagram show it with engine upside down,the sensor is near the bottom of the block right above the top of oil pan,remove a bolt and it slides out.

the crank sensor is located just above and behind the starter motor. accesable after removing the starter.

Not on the 3.5l LX5. The crank sensor on that engine is near the starter.

Should be located around 11:00 on front of engine at crank pully.
