Hello, my name is Ben. It's possible that both bulbs have burned out. Have you verified voltage going to the plug where it goes into the back of the headlights? As for your right headlight clicking. The most likely cause is the plastic gear inside the headlight motor is worn out. The gear will need to be replaced, or eventually the motor won't raise or lower the headlight. There are brass gears made as an aftermarket part that are vastly superior to the stock GM plastic gears. I hopes this helps. Feel free to ask any other questions if you need more information.

I have a 1992 GMC Yukon 4x4 blazer just had it in the shop when it came out the lights are all messed up. headlights work high and low. driver side turn signal dont work , passenger side turn signal don't...

If those lights all worked properly before the shop "fixed" it, take it back to the shop and ask them to make it right. If they are reputable, they will correct the problem(s). If not, think Small Claims Court.

I changed out the passenger side motor, followed all instruction, put it back together, and the headlight stays down when lights are turned on, when I turn the lights off, it comes up

You need to manualy put it to the down position there should be a small knob or small gear maybe a screw. It should be right next to or on top of the headlight ass..Turn the car off and headlights off then put the one thats up down.

Electrical problems?

Reads like it is a problem for an auto electrician or someone with access to the vehicles wiring diagram - presumably at some point two circuits are crossing. More likely if it is a modern car, it maybe a bit of computerised hardware that needs a fix or replacement.

I need to reaim the passenger side headlight after I changed the bulb

  • Aligning your light is easy.

  1. While your hood is open just look down towards the back of the headlight assembly.
  2. There will be some screws facing up at you. Turn those to adjust your headlight.
  3. Screwing them in moves the light up.
  4. Loosening the (left turns) moves the light down.

I have a 2008 Ford Fusion and the passenger side head lamp will not come on. The fog lights and driver side head lamp works but the passenger side will not work on bright or on dim, what could this be?

Hi. Since the headlight on the driver side is working then we dont have any problem with the fuse or relay. Check the wiring and the socket of the passenger headlight if it is intact to the bulb. If it is intact, then this could be a headlight problem. Time to replace the passenger headlight.

I have a 2003 chevy cavalier. headlight issue

The blinking light is telling you that you have a headlight out, if you look the service light should be coming on when the light stops blinking.
Replace the head light and all should be fine.

Audit TT passenger headlight goes out

The ignitor or ballast must stay energized for the bulb to stay lit..If the bulb comes on then goes off, or flickers, then the ignitor is defective. You are in the early stages of failure, it will eventually stop working altogether

Replacing headlight

Disconnect the battery terminals, remove the fuse box cover and unbolt the square coolant tank on the passenger side of the car and move it off to the side.

For the driver side headlight, turn the wheel to the passenger side and remove or just drop inner fender liner. About a dozen little plastic rivets and 2 metal screws holding on mudguard. You really don't have to unscrew the screws holding the fender liner to the bottom of the front bumper you can just pull it down to access the back of the headlight.

DO NOT disconnect any of the hoses on the coolant tank or try to remove it from the car, just put it to the side.

Now you've got room to get your hands into where they need to go. You'll notice that there is a circular plastic cover on the housing behind the low beams. These each will unscrew and pop off. Once you take these off it is a simple matter of removing and replacing the bulb.

The bulb is held in by a metal latch. It is a wire that looks like a loop off a paper clip. disconnect by just push down and inwards (toward the middle of the car) on it and it'll pop up. Pivot it up out of the way and the bulb will pull right out. (actually, they both push towards the left if you are standing in front of the car looking at the headlights)

Replace the bulb and make sure you note how the old bulb was installed as it will only go back in one way. ALSO make sure you do not touch the bulb itself as the oil from your skin will cause the bulb to have hot spots and burn out sooner.

Reverse the process for the install making sure you get the metal tabs to latch in properly and make sure you secure the circular covers back onto the headlight housing. Also make sure you securely reattach the coolant tank and put the fuse box cover back on.
