If this is a stick (manual) shift, you have to get under the truck. There is no dipstick, like in an automatic. So, on level ground, with a cooled transmission, put down some cardboard and have a rag handy. Get the bolt-type, or allen wrench-type plug out of the side of the tranmission. This is where you check or add tranny fluid. Place your finger into the hole up to the first knuckle (the one just past your fingernail). You should at least feel fluild at the tip of you finger, but close to the bottom of the threaded plug hole is what I remember. Also remember to check the clutch fluid (if it is a manual), it is up under the hood just in front of the driver, behind the brake fluid reservoir. In fact it looks like a smaller version of the brake reservoir. Maggie

Changing transmission filter where is it located on a kia rondo 2007

Typically, the pan must be unbolted and removed to change the fluid/access the filter. This is a messy job! Some specialized tools may be required, too. And it is very important to use only the ****** fluid specified by the manufacturer.

How to put tramission fluid in a 1996 honda passport automatic

It has a sealed transmission. Call your local dealer to get this taken care of, it requires a special pump to change the fluid. The cost of the service depends on the mileage. For example, when i had mine serviced last it only cost me $20, but it took an hour.

Is there a drain plug on the tramission of a 1993 toyota car?

You loosen the oil pan bolts leaving the corner bolts in place till last. use a catch pan and drop one corner first and drain most of the oil prior to removing the rest of the bolts. Remove pan and clean it before reinstall... also the filter is a good idea to replace as well.
