Insert a key into my lincoln ls 2004 and nothing happens ?

I have a 2004 Lincoln LS,disconnect the negative battery for 10 minutes,then connect cable back,when you open driver side door alarm will go off,insert key in ignition and alarm will go off.Get in car,lock all doors and windows,turn key to the right 8 times quickly,then doors will unlock,then quickly push any button on key fob.

start with fully charging your battery.

Does it click when you try to turn it over? If so it sounds like a stuck/bad starter tap the starter with a hammer while someone tries starting it.

Some circuit is not timing out. I have a 2004 LS V8. If you have codes pulled or more info give it to me.

Most lincolns have the touchpad entry on the drivers door. If you know your code, simply enter it. Otherwise, you will have to call a locksmith to open the door so you can pop the trunk.

My car is stalling to start. If I just hold the key, it will eventually catch and go ahead and crank. I've changed the crank sensor. Fuel pump is good. Any other ideas?

Check the batteries in your car key if its electronic. If it has a RFID in the key that can stop the car from working because it is a security device.

try tapping the end of the key gently with a small hammer while trying to turn it this happens alot on Ford Escape and Focus
