Click on the link, part of your wiring diagram.
If you have a distributor, you don't have a crank sensor. There is a cam sensor in distributor. W/o more info concerning your problem, I'm not sure what is happening? Any applicable trouble codes? Engine cranking, you have spark at the plugs--proper fuel pressure--and fuel injector pulse?

1991 Dodge Dakota

check and make sure you have 12 volts to fuel pump with key in on position, if not trace back wires to relay if good, turn key on, off , on, off
then leave on and check codes may be crank sensor, or cam sensor

I have a 96 dodge dakota with a 3.9 V6 i have spark and fuel pressure but it wont fire at all i was told it could be the crank sensor

Always check for spark at the coil first, than see if its going to the spark plugs, I have had bad crank sensor and truck still started. But did you do a scan, get it scaned and see what codes it shows.

1992 Dodge Dakota won't start when Hot

it sounds like it might be a crankshaft position sensor (CKP). when it doesnt start try dumping some cold water on the sensor and see if it starts. I had the same problem with my 94 intrepid. Of course there are other things that might cause this problem but it is something to start with.
