Don't spend money taking it to a mechanic or dealer. Lower the spare a correct the pressure in it. Then reset the pressure light. All these Lexus tire sensors are little transmitters sending a signal to your car's receiver. Had the same problem and solved it this way.
The tire pressure is low then required.
Make sure you have checked the tire pressure on all 5 tires. Yes i said 5, including the spare tire. If the spare tire pressure is low then also the light will also come on.----------Click this link below to get more details:---http://technoanswers.blogspot.com/2011/10/tire-pressure-light-on-for-lexus-rx-350.html

This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.
definetly tire prssure low light. you can reset it by scrolling through the mileage and trip meter once you get to the screen for the tire preesure monitor hold the button down till it flashes and it will reset. make sure you check all your tire pressures first.
there is not a reset for the tire pressure monitor system, the system resets its self when all tires are inflated to the proper psi. 35 psi . dont forget about the spare. if all tires are properly inflated check the "2nd set" switch. it is located under the dash on the passenger side. sometimes they get bumped accidently. unless you have a 2nd set of wheels with sensors the switch should be set to "main"
Veve713: You probably didn't need new tires unless you had some miles on it. Remember that the spare tire also has a pressure monitor as well. It most likely is causing the low tire pressure light on the dash and only needs to be inflated back to what ever your other tires are set to. I had the same problem on my RX and took it back to the dealership where they told me since the spare is exposed to the same elements (it's under the back of the RX - you have to use the tire iron to let the spare down), it will inevidably lose air.
I brought my RX350 to the dealer for this problem before. They told me to inflate my tires to 36psi for winter time although the recommended pressure is 30 psi
the tire in the trunk has a sensor also check the spare tire pressure , only the dealer will tell you this after you are charged to mount and balance the spare in the trunk..
Make sure you check the spare tire too; had this problem on another model and the dealer said it was the spare which is also monitored. Good news in case you need it one day.
