There are a few tests I would carry out, 1/ run a wire from positive side of battery to small terminal on starter solenoid if engine cranks starter is ok, if not it's faulty 2/ if solenoid clicks but engine doesn't crank check thick wire between starter motor & solenoid.3/
check for power to relay for starter (if fitted) when ignition key is in start position if no power could be ignition switch but double check all fuses first (there may be more than one fuse box so have a good look), if fuses ok you can run power to relay from battery if engine cranks its the switch thats faulty 4/ if power here check for power out from relay, if no power relay is faulty

SOURCE: the vehicle antitheft light is on and my 2003

your nearest dealer needs to "reset" that with a "starscan" they will need both of the keys to verify that they both have good "Signal" and to reprogram them to the vehicle. veh. needs to be present at time of repair.

My 2005 Chrysler Town and Country. When I try to start the car I hear a loud rapid clicking sound under the front hood. The engine won't turn over. All dashboard warning lights are good and visable. ...

Its possible that the Starter is bad. But check your Starter relay first. If you use jumper cables and bridge the main cable on one side of the Relay to the opposite side, and it works, the Relay is bad. About $15 for the part.

When you test for Battery voltage, hook the POS end of your charger to the Battery side of the Relay. If your Battery post is dirty, you may have 12 or more Volts at the Battery, but nothing at the Solenoid. Then you just need to clean the cable and try it.

If you get the Van to run, you can always go to Autozone or Oreillys and have them do a Starter draw test. Then you will be confident about the Starters' condition and you will not have to remove it for nothing. The tests are free as well as them using a scanner on your vehicle.

2003 Chrysler Town and Country will not turn over. Battery at 12.5 volts with no drop in voltage when key turned to start position, but I do hear a faint click sound. All lights, windows, guages appear to...

When you turn the switch over, does the lights dim or flicker? If that's the case then the battery don't have the power it needs to turn the engine over, so it could be the cables and post need cleaning, or the solenoid for the starter is bad. The description you give with the clicking sound, gives me the thought of starter solenoid, but always do the easiest and cheapest. "clean those terminals and post first"

Van wont start every time ,no power at all

could be your solenoid. Feeds power to the starter motor like a relay only bigger and louder. Normally bolted to the starter motor
