YOUR CAR IS IN THEFT SECURITY MODE.TRY USING DIFFERENT KEY.IF ANOTHER KEY DONT WORK.YOU HAVE PROBLEM IN THE SWITCH AND BCM.TO GET CAR TO STARTED TURN THE IGNITION WITH KEY IN TO ON POSITION WITH ENGINE OFF FOR 10 MINUTES.WATCH THE PADLOCK.IF IT TURNS OFF.TURN OFF IGNITION SWITCH FOR 5 SECONDS.THEN TRY TO START ENGINE.IF ENGINE STARTED PROBLEM IS IN THE IGNITION SWITCH AND BCM.IF YOU GET VECHICLE RUNNING NOT SAFE TO DRIVE BECAUSE THE VECHICLE WILL GO IN THEFT MODE SHUT OFF YOUR FUEL PUMP WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING IN HEAVY TRAFFIC. DONT LET GO GET IT FIX FOR YOUR AND FAMILY SAFETY.

Starting then cuts off

Look for any indicator lights on the dash when this happens. Look mainly for a light that says SECURITY, ANTITHEFT, or looks like a car with a padlock thru it. If you see this light, go to this link. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

The dashboard on my 2003 Yukon Denali won`t light up, the warning lights, the gauges and indicators...nothing is working. The CD player and cigarette lighters all work.

I had this problem on my '03 Yukon. There is an IC or other component on the dash/gauge panel that went bad, but I pulled the gauge cluster and sent it to mrwhizard.com. They replaced some parts, and i paid to have the stepper motors replaced as well, since they would prob go in the very near future. I want to say it cost me about $150-$180 total, including s/h, and had it back in a week or so. It retained my original odometer reading as well, which I was very curious/cautious of.....

leaking suspension air bags is the most common cause, but the system can be tested for trouble codes, I suggest u do so, only the dealer can do this, but guessing about what the problem is can get very expensive very fast.
