How to locate the thermostat for a 2003 acura 3.2 tls

http://www.oemacuraparts.com/auto-parts/2003/acura/tl/engine/water-pump-sensor/?trim=type-s&engine=5-speed-automatic Its located in the water pump housing. When you do a timing belt job is the time to change it, or vise versa. Its a bigger job so when one goes out its time to do the other.

My 1998 Acura TL has 89,101 miles, when should I have the timing belt and water pump replaced?

100,000 is the recomended interval change for the timing belt, however there is no set schedule for the water pump.

Timing belt service should be between every 60k miles & 90k miles.

Does the 2007 Acura have a timing belt or a timing chain and does it need to be replaced?

The TSX, RSX, RDX, models have chains. MDX 3.7L, RL 3.5L, TL 3.2L, TL 3.5L, ALL have belts. You did not specify your model #. Hope this helps.

04 acura tl serpentine belt diagram

there should be a belt diagram from a label either on underside of hood or on radiator support. That should help if you can do it yourself.
