The 2006 Camry was available with both a 4-cylinder engine and an optional 6-cylinder engine, so the number of spark plugs will be either 4 or 6.

2006 Toyota Camry Solara. After replacing all six ignition coils and spark plugs on a 2006 solera I gave to cranked three or four times before it starts.

Question edited to add maker and correct spelling of model name
Question moved to correct category.

Try cleaning throttle body and MAF, but you probably need a good local auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer.

Plug wires on 2006 Camry. Am replacing plugs on 2006 4 cyl Camry. Trying to pull the plug wire off the contact at each plug and the retaining clips are splitting and breaking. Are these replaceable?

Since the vehicle is already 8 years old, you are better off replacing the plug wires as a whole. You might even see better performance and gas mileage

Where are the spark plugs on a 2007 Toyota 4 cyl Camry. I removed the top cover and found holes with plastic liners which won't come out, but no spark plugs. Help needed.

Just follow the wires from the coil pack mounted on top, there are 4 of them, they will take you to the side of the motor where the spark plugs are hiding. Hope this helps.

I can't find the spark plugs on my 2006 Camry LE

You have to take off the plastic that covers the engine, right under that you'll see the spark plug wires going along under the plastic peice. You wont see the plugs, they're way down about 5 or so inches in your block. These new cars like to hide the simple stuff these days, so be sure you have a long extention on your rachet, and don't forget to be sure you've got a gromitt or else you might never get the plug out. Also, only get the plugs for YOUR car. Other plugs and end up burning up your engine by getting them too hot. If you have any questions, call your local Toyota Dealer
