1993 Buick Lesabre 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 191478 miles
the speedometer works perfect so i'm ruling out the VSS
I turn the cruise on and get to the speed i want to set , i push the set button and the cruise light comes on but the car slows down and the cruise light turns off , i have replaced the cruise control servo with a working one same thing happens , also once the cruise light turns off , it will not turn back on till you shut the ignition switch off and then turn it back on , is the module doing this , also where is the module locatated on this car , thanks for any help we live on a limited income and can not afford to to take to a repair shop , i am very handy at fixing things if i know what to do

I understand your situation. For some one who is mechanicaly inclined like yourself, it would be very helpfull to you if you had the tech manual. In order to repair this type of problem you will need a wiring diagram of that system to see all of the components it contains and which wires provide power, ground etc. If you have replaced all of the components in the system then the only thing left is to ensure that there are no opens in the circuit wiring. If you can't figure things out without the diagram, you can purchase a one year subscription for about $25 at alldata.com Search for discount codes on line for alldata.

Testimonial: "I will get a diagram and run down through the wires , may just be a open circit like you say , thanks for answer - Ron"

2004 Buick LeSabre speedometer not working properly. Registers too slow if at all. Is there a sensor in the dash? Cruise control works fine.

Yes it's on the right side othe transmission just above the passenger side cv axle. You most likley need to send the cluster off and have it checked. Model Electronics in NY.

Engine Collant, ABS & Brake lights on CC/cig. lighter not working

Replace coolant level sensor in radiator. The wheel sensor may be the abs problem. You will need to hook to a diagnostics tool to find the cure. Check vac hoses to cruise unit for leak.
