Which fuse ? A/C compressor fuse 10 amp. located in the under hood fuse box ? If this is the fuse the A/C compressor clutch is drawing to many amps . too much current flow . Need new compressor clutch . Have it checked , unless you know how to do current draw test .

The thermostat is at the back near the transmission,just to let you know the water pump you have may be the one that has the plastic propellor they known to always fail.

The first thing to check would be the fuses, this problem may be related or maybe not, so check fuses, make sure to test fuses under the hood in the engine compartment.

most cars have a relay along with a fuse. You're fuse might be ok but if the relay went bad it won't work. sometimes they're under the hood other times they're by the fusebox under the steering wheel. they have a diagram check for continuity in the pins that the diagram shows a broken line for. if there is continuity replace the relay.

check fuses under hood there should be seperate fuses for each side.

it sounds like you have a poor battery and a draw on your truck put a low amp clamp around the positive battery cable with the truck off and key removed from the truck for 10mins. then if you show more than 350mamps you have an excessive draw to find what is drawing the battery down start removing fuses starting with larger fuses until the amp clamp reads below 350mamps. then you know what circuit is causing the problem. check that the under hood light is turning off. common problem. good luck.

Check the fuse

1st make sure your battery cables are clean .. sometimes the battery will check ok with a meter but if you turn something on in the car it will not let juice go through cables if they are dirty at battery .. Next check to make sure battery cable on starter is tight .thanks Jerry holler if you need more

I had the same problem today with my sunfire 96 2.2L and it was the radiator fan that was draining too much amperes and the fuse blew up 3 seconds or less after the fan was turning.... i just change the radiator fan motor and the fan and the fuse are ok!!!!
