replace the black relay between the 2 blue relays in the fuse box. cost about 5 bucks.

this means that your a/c has a leak somewhere in it....or the a/c compressor has gone bad.....you can check the a/c charge with a guage you can pick up at your local automotive store. if the charge is good then chances are that your a/c compressor is bad....kindof a costly fix.

I lost the link for this thread, Thanks for posting ED. There was some great help on this problem at this site. the fault ended up being a thermal fuse in the fan speed control moduel (black box in the a/c ducting next to the fan) $3 fix!

I ad this problem fixed and it cost $35. Apparently, this happens when the Freon level is low for some reason. They refilled the Freon and now I have AC on both sides. Don't forget to replace the internal filter in the glove box.

This is a common problem when the AC system has a low charge.
If this is the case, you have a leak somewhere. Do not try to fix it yourself without the proper equipment.
