Engine cuts out momentarily

I have a 1997 Hyundai excel sprint, 1.5lt 5sp Man. It has only travelled 58,150km since new and drives like a dream except... At speed over 85km/h eg: On freeway, engine 'cuts out' momentarily, feels as though it's running out of fuel. Then it will be fine for 10mins then do it again, sometimes for a min or so. It's really annoying me.
Have had it serviced, replaced plugs, oil/air/fuel filters.
Could it be Throttle Position sensor? Fuel pump?

Any assistance would be appreciated

While the i was driving the car it started to die then came bck to life then started to die again so i pulled over and turned engine off then when i tryed to start it again it justs makes a buzzing sound...

sounds like a charging issue. have the system tested with a good battery. if the system is working you should see anywhere between 13.5 volts - about 14.5v. anything less and you have an alternator that is no longer doing its job.

Hyundai excel 1997 sprint

Hi, if it is an early 97 12valve engine the plugs will be accessed through between the exhaust manifold sections at the front of the motor. if it is a 16 valve, then you remove the plug leads to get access undo them, then use the lead cap to remove the plugs, ie wqhen the plug is undone, push the lead cap back onto the plug, and lift it out. you certainly would not need to remove the valve cover.
