Usually your RF (radio frequency) is messed up and sending invalid data to your computer. You will have to take your car to the dealer and have them reset it. Mine keeps coming on too. I keep asking them if there is a recall on this. Mine has come on 5-6 times. And if you live where it is cold, it will come on in the winter too. Don't worry about this one, when theh weather warms it will go off

And do not use your cigarette lighter for anything other than that. By putting my phone charger in this port, caused my tpms system to malfunction. This is what I was told by the dealer.

I have a 2008 hyundai sonata 2.4 liter, the tpms light stays on is it way to turn it off without going to a automotive shop

Put air in the tire. If the sensor is bad, no you can't turn it off. The shop can't do it either until the sensor is replaced.

How do I get the TPMS light on a 2007 Hyundai Sonata to go off? I just had 4 new tires and wheels installed.

You have to go to the dealership and have them reset it. My wife's has been on for 4 years on her sonata, doesn't hurt anything.

You might check to see that the tire pressure is correct on all of your tires. Advance auto parts has a scanner they will loan you to clear this code yourself.

At first, the light to let me know about the air in the tires turned on, and after a couple od days I took it to the car dealer where I bought it..The tires were check and was told that the light will turn...

contact the place where the tire was changed and let them know that they damaged the TPMS sensors. If they have a grain of integrity, they'll make it right.

I don't have an owners manual...TPMS indicator light just came on

hi from uk TPMS tyre pressure managment system ? this indicator may well be a simple tyre pressure under inflated ? for some reason ? slow puncture ? when were tyres last checked for correct pressures ? you should check routenely at least weekly ? not wait for indicator warning ? if you check pressures then try see if light resets ?

A dash lite on my 2009 hyundai sonata came on while was driving. if you can tell me what it is TPMS

stands for Tire Pressure Monitor System= TPMS. check all tire pressures (when cold if possible) and adjust them according to the tire pressure sticker on the drivers door jamb, glove box, another door jamb or center console compartment(inside).even check the spare tire pressure. the lite comes on to tell you that either 1 or more tires is considerably lower or higher in pressure than the rest. once u adjust the pressures correctly, look in the owners manual as to how to reset/shut off the light. on alot of cars if u drive the car for awhile the light will reset and go off .hope this helps.

Hyundai Veracruz GLS 2008 Tire Pressure problem

Keep taking it back to the dealer until the fix it or give you a new car. Not that it's an immediate safety issue, it's just something that's supposed to be functioning properly. They have to address it because cars are legally required to have TPMS systems for safety. If a safety mehanism fails in your car, you can claim it is a safety issue. If you keep having problems with the TPMS light, you'll eventually ignore it. Then one day you'll have a tire going flat and you wouldn't know it.
