Its not hard at all. as long as your good with your hands. and know the basics of your rx7. other then that everything bolts in. you just need a turbo driveshaft for sure. or they sell a custom driveshaft on mazdatrix.com so you can keep your N/A differential.

I would suggest that you change out the rear for a turbo 2 rear. You would need to buy a automatic driveshaft. So if you buy the turbo 2 rear and the auto drive shaft from a secound gen 86-91 everything will line up perfect. You can use your rear that you have as long as u dont beat the car. Otherwise the rear will just go out

Losing boost!! I have a 1993 mazda rx7 13b twin turbo with the stock turbos. When i punch it my boost goes up to about 10psi. But bleeds off and i can head it blowing out. Was thinking it was blow off...

Have you checked all the tubing cuplings? When mine was doing that i had a cupling that would keep sliding off just enuff that it was letting out air and loosing me boost.

What engines can replace the rotery engine in my 1987 mazda rx7? Looking for something with cyliders over a rotery engine, also with more power. Any sugustions?

Well the most common swaps are putting in Small block ford's and Chevy's. The one I see mostly is the 5.0 Mustang motor swap. There are numerous kits for motor mounts and relocation brackets that make it a fairly straight forward swap. Do a little research and you will start seeing quite a few results that will answer your questions on How to's and so forth.
