Sounds like a mass air flow senser, this senses load on the engine, you can buy an insert which is a quarter the price of a new unit. the e-class gave a lot of trouble with this senser.

2011 Ssangyong Kyron M200 XDi auto that goes into limp mode, stuck in 4th gear. This occurs when either its driven over 80kph or 3000rpm. It then revs out and has no acceleration.

Question edited to fix the formatting and lack of spaces between words.

Find a local auto auto electrician and connect it to a professional grade scan tool computer. The reason for the limp mode will be stated as codes. The codes tell you the fix.

I expect the dealer knows that as a cheaply made Korean car the best fix is to just buy a new one. They are really a disposable commodity at 8 years old.

How do I reset the service light on a 1999 Mercedes e240

Hi there,

With key turned to ignition, you flick through OSD menu until you reach "km's and distance travelled", once at this screen you hold "R" next to the instrument cluster, for just over 2 seconds, a screen comes up asking to "confirm press R" you hold "R" again and it resets it for the next 15000km interval. Hope this helps.

Best of luck.

I recently bought a 1992 model toyota camry SV21 and 3S-FE engine, it starts well exept that when you try to accelerate, the engine will miss and would like to stall, so just to bring it home I rev it high...

the fuel must be adjusted ,it loses the torque, when press the accelerator ,the engine need more torque when moving the car on 1st gear, compare on the motorway, check for the fuel man ,this will affect the engine on long period

Mercedes c class with tiptonic gearbox. It seems to have got stuck in a low gear when I slowed down for a roundabout. When I accelerated to 50/60 mph, the rev counter was way too high and no auto gear...

It seems oil level is low in your gearbox, and it most likely leaking from adapter bushing ( where cable is connected to gearbox).
You need to replace seals or complete bushing and correct oil level.
Better if you visit your mechanic.
