Why does my Peugeot 206cc windscreen wipers keep going off on their own?

Here's the under the bonnet fuses #3 is the one your looking to see if it's blown.

There is a chip in the key fob, might need reprogramming by Peugeot! Try your spare key.

remove the wiper arm and reposition it a bit further up on the windscreen. Make sure that the rubber is not much past the blade arm.

To replace the cabin filter it is straight forward, open the bonnet, carefully unlatch the plastic cover near the windscreen, with the key in the off position move the windscreen wiper stalk this would cause the wipers to move and park in a vertical position allowing the removal of the plastic cover, Note how it fits under the windscreen, the filter can then be removed and replaced, all in all 10 minutes!

Try looking at fuse, peter

Check your fuse compartment under hood. Fuse 3 & 12 for windshield wipers and washers. More than likely you've overloaded the wiper motor causing a blown fuse.

this just happened to us, the drivers side stopped working after getting tangled up with the passenger side...it was just a case of tightening up the 13mm nuts on the wiper arm.

When you can't find any fault code in ecu log then in my opinion its the wiper motor that has gone. May be motor has a broken pinion which doesn't engage the wiper arms properly and causes the problem. Buy a used wiper motor from ebay and give it a try. I hope that it'll work.

one of the drive arms has disconnected u need to access under the wiper arms and reconnect if not broken, or replace

hi ive a peugeot 206cc 02 reg, the STOP light keeps flashing ive checked the normal oil and water but alls ok so whats the problem still runs fine and temp stays where it should??? any tips??
