First check your dimmer switch to make sure that you do not have it turned all the way up where it clicks. This is how you turn on your interiors lights in many cars.Second,Make sure there is nothing jamming your doors open, even slightly, and making your interior lights stay on.Third,if none of these are the culprit, check your doors switch inside the jamb where your door swivels out.It may be broken or not operating properly.Check the wiring that is insid the jamb. Many times when and if there is a rubber cover between the jamb and the door, the wiring can break and cause a short.Which in turn grounds out and may cause your lights to stay on or not at all.Hope this helps some;)

The interior ligts on my 1989 corvette coupe stays on all the time

make sure the interior light switch is turned off so they only come on when the door is opened(this happens alot),the next thing is it could be a door switch that has a problem thinking its open.you could also have a headlight switch that has an internal problem like a short that is allowing power to the interior light wire circuit of the switch causing the interior lights to stay on.

Door open light staying on, rear view interior light, and check engine light staying on

The door light and interior lights are staying on because one of your door switches needs to be replaced. The vehicle is sensing that a door is ajar and that will keep your interior lights on. This should not necessarily set the check engine light off however. I would believe that there is another issue setting off the check engine light. If there is a parts store in your area ask them if they can scan your vehicles check engine light, and if there is a charge. They will be able to retrieve a code that will explain the problem of your check engine light being on
