91 Grand Prix SE: If you can turn car off with the key, but can't get the key out - first thing you should check is to see if the button on the shifter is fully releasing (the button on the shift handle you have to push to shift out of Park).
The wire to the starter that has the small eyelet connector attaches to the "S" terminal on the starter solenoid, all other wire or wires, with the larger eyelet connector should be connected along with the Pos. (+) battery cable on the main "BAT" terminal of the starter solenoid.
Starter is on the bottom front of the engine. Round with thick red wire going to amoung a few others.. When you take it off you will be able to see the flywheel..
the starter could be shot, try having someone tap on it with a hammer or breaker bar while you turn the ignition. if it starts then you know you need to replace the starter. if not message me back and i'll be more than happy to help you trouble shoot the problem further
