13-"map sensor" vacuum side not working properly, or has vacuum leak.
25- AIS (automatic idle speed motor) malfunction, may be caused by vacuum leak as well, but check electrical connections.
41-alternator field circuit open, or shorted.

What problem are you having with vehicle, or does this point you in right direction?

Testimonial: "thanks. leads in right direction. will idle up after comming to stop, will be looking for vac leaks. been long time since i worked on chrysler product"

May just be a faulty Map sensor as well.

Some of those codes may have been stored for quite a while. Personally, I'd erase them all after fixing MAP sensor, and see what, if any return. You may be chasing something that isn't a problem anymore. Good Luck

325 memory loss??? volvo v 40 why?

i assume you're talking about the ecm setting a code for memory loss?

If so, i'd take it to the dealer and have them reload the ecm. that will overwrite the code in the ecm. after that i'd have them upgrade the can net software.

The upgrade is supposed to complimentary, but who know's if they'll honor it or not. the software number for the can net upgrade is s/w: 8691431

If the code continues, the ecm may have an internal failure and may need to be replaced.

Fault codes engine 0802

The P0802 is an ECM code that sets when the transmission module requests that it turn on the check engine light. What that means is the transmission set one or more codes but to access them you need to look in TCM, not the ECM. Unfortunately, without knowing what the transmission codes are we can be of little help.

Hi, now it depends, I take you have a code reader? if so you should have a code reset? If the car is as you said, remove and clean injectors, I know its a pain, but as the car is not running this is the only way to clean them.
I hope this helps. What code reader are you using to know its code: P1000

I recently replaced injectors on a hilux 2KD FTV engine,2007.I understand i need to enter the code appearing on the new units to the ECM.I,ve tried to do so but the error code P1601 EEPROM still appears on...

hilux 2KD FTV , P1601 MEANS:

Type Powertrain - Manufacturer Controlled DTC - Manufacturer Controlled Description ECM Overtemperature
Cause Engine running, then the PCM detected an internal temperature of over 221F or an internal temperature of -58F or over 284F.
SO, it is a PCM error, tep is too high normally, or you can ask the 24 hrs live technical support vas5054a, they will like to help you, good luck

Engine shuts off when it comes to hot

Jay :
Hello and thank you for using JustAnswer.com
Jay :
do you have any codes stored? other than the swirl valve code?
Customer :
no other codes than 2 codes for swirl switch but this is only because i have the wrong ecm installed, the problem with engine shutting down is still presant witch leads me to believe we still have problem other than ecm
Jay :
you still have the original Ecm correct?
Jay :
How does the car run cold? Do you have a Scanner or a code reader?
Customer :
car was originally towed in with transmission problem , multiple misfires and bad oxygen sensor. customer wanted used transmission and all coils replaced along with the new oxygen sensor, customer picked up car, a few days later on the highway engine starte lossing power and stalled out. car restarted after sitting but only traveled a few miles before dstalling out again , we towed car in, started diagnostics and came up with ecm , yes we still have origial ecm
Customer :
we never had any DTC'S in memory with the getting hot and shutting condition , car runs perfect cold and yes we do have snap on and mac scanners
Jay :
Plug in the original Ecm and start the car. Monitor the Air and Fuel mixture readings and let me know what they are. Check these readings as the car warms up and let me know what they are.
Customer :
won't i need to have the original ecm flashed for the security system ?
Jay :
it should still be programed
Jay :
But you can use the ecm you have in the car
Customer :
the original ecm will not start car , will run test with new ecm
Jay :
k
Jay :
Also try this and let me know what happens when you try this. Get the car all warmed up until it stalls. Then unplug the MAF sensor and see if the car starts and idles.
Jay :
Let me know, thank Jay!
Customer :
with car running MAF @.42 / ign. advance HERE is a copy of it.
Jay :
I have seen when it comes to Nissans, that after market electrical parts never seem to work right
Jay :
I would go through the harness and do wiggle checks and ohm and voltage drove the wires.
Customer :
after we completed the work we have had to mil light on, even when the car was dying out
Jay :
Cause you have the Swirl valve code. That is why the MIL light is on right?
Customer :
yes now we have the light on for the swirl valve because we have a california emissions ecm in the car, i have to start with finding another ecm and have this one flashed again or do you think i should just install the original ecm and go from there
Jay :
I would go back to the original Ecm, unless you found something for sure wrong with it. Then check the harness.
Customer :
we removed all the after market coils and installed the originals , engine still shut down , we tested for injector pulse and still have pulse but no spark
Customer :
it shuts down at about the same time on each occurance, right now engine shuts down during third cooling fan cycle
Jay :
I wonder if the Ecm is bad? That is odd how on the 3rd cycle of the fans it shuts down.
Jay :
I am sorry I needed to step out for the day and will be out this evening. I will be around tomorrow if you would like to continue, if you would like I can opt out and another expert can assist you. Let me know, thanks Jay!

What does the check engine light mean?

Whenever the "Check Engine" light comes on, there is always a DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) stored in the ECM (Engine Control Module). You'll need an OBDII (On-Board-Diagnostics) scanner to retrieve any codes recorded/set in ECM. Once you do this and let us know what, if any codes are set, then we can go from there.

Transmission shifts down to first at high speeds

I hate repeating myself, but here goes... Does the Check Engine light come ON when this happens? Whenever the "Check Engine" light comes on, there is always a DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) stored in the ECM (Engine Control Module). You'll need an OBDII (On-Board-Diagnostics) scanner to retrieve any codes recorded/set in ECM. Once you do this and let us know what, if any codes are set, then we can go from there. So, check for codes... let us know what you find... we can go from there.
