I have a 1992 cadillac deville that the heater blower motor will not turn off when I turn the key off. It just stays on without the key being turned on.

There is obviosly a short some place. A temporary fix until the short can be traced is to remove the heater fuse. Locate the fuse panel. It is usually under the dash on the driver side but has been known to be on the right hand side under the dash or maybe even in the glove compartment. Once you found it then read the cover and locate the heater fuse. Remove t and save the fuse to replace at a later date.If the heater fuse operates more thenone feature such as windshield wipers or radio and so onthen you will need to leave the fuse in if you want the other features. Another option is to remove the negative battery cable when the vehicle is not in use to prevent the battery from being drained. I hope this helps, The Raz
