Viewing wiring diagrams an testing electrical circuits with a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter is the way to find the problem . You don't know how to do that ? Your best bet mite be to take to a qualified repair shop. Ford Explorer Window Won Work your vehicle is the same . Ford Explorer No Power Windows
Some sunroofs have a open switch like the drivers window. You push it and the window will open automaticly. The button on your sunroof could be jammed so even though you can close it as soon as you release it, it will auto open on it's own.
if you wiggle the fuse box and press the button does the windows work ? as it can be the fuse box its self not having a good connection to the relay or the fuses, to find out if the connection is good, using a pencil rub it on the connections on the relay and put in the fuse box again and then pull it out there should be lines in the pencil mark to confirm its connecting properly.
Actuator about to go out, cost about 600 dollars, have done it a least once on all windows and twice on the back ones, very common problem and happens a lot on BMWs.
SInce you indicated that it was working intermittently then quit working altogether the most likely culprit is probably a bad blower relay . The Contacts in a relay will sometimes burn and intermittently still conduct for while until they get so burnt that they won't conduct at all and the relay will have to be replaced. If you could get a Chilton Service Manual for the Vehicle in question it would probably show the exact location of the relay.
try to check wiring in door hinge area for cracks and brakes otherwise get some "lectro-motive" spray and spray the motors BEFORE you replace the motors
