How can you fix internal soleniod in a transmission?

go after the P1768 code first. sounds like trans relay is not sending power to the solenoid pack. check fuse #2 {should be a yellow 20 amp fuse} in underhood fuse/relay box. if it's blown it will cause all these codes. the relay is marked EATX and is in the same box as fuse. should be in one of the corners of the box. hope this helps, let me know

Hi, Your like your jeep is in limp in mode, this is to keep you from burning up transmission and to get you some were off the road, the p1768 code means A/T Transmission Relay Output Always Off. This should be checked out by your local shop or dealer. but you should make sure that the fluid level is correct, if to low there is not enough fluid pressure for the solenoid's to engage the relays. I have a 1999 Dodge Intrepid and the heater will not switch from cold to hot and the vents are stuck on

the flap is vacuum advanced, so look for a broken vacuum hose near the fire wall where the heater core hose goes in.

I believe that the cable has to be adjusted. Most cases, the cable adjustment is off. Worst case senario, is the bushing in tranny is worn out.

1996 dodge intrepid 3.3 transmission wont shiftout of first gear

two issues here. this may be a low fluid issue. i would check the level of the fluid first. the next issue could be a blown shift solenoid. these are located inside of the transmission pan.also, check the filter as well.(transmission filter could be clogged)

1999 dodge intrepped wont shift out of first gear

Won't shift out of first, or is stuck in second? These transmissions will go into limp mode which sticks it in 2nd gear. Is the check engine light on? This will most likely lead you to the fault if it is.

P1768 TCM (tranny control module) relay output always off
Okay what it means is that the PCM (engine computer) is not seeing the relay for the TCM
turn on. Can be as simple as a new relay, should be in the fuse panel next to the battery under the hood, switch if you can with another identical relay and see if it makes any difference, If it doesn't then you probaly have a broken wire somewhere in the harness between the PCM/fusebox area on the drivers side .
