1996 Bonneville Pontiac kills, hesitates, lurches

1996 Bonneville Pontiac (Not supercharged) When slowing down to stop the engine sometimes kills. Sometimes outright and other times the rpms revs up and down a few times and then kills. Along with this the car sometimes lurches slightly when slowing down to stop. It always starts back up fine.. I don't know if this is part of the same problem, but when traveling at a steady highway speed the car seems to lose power for just one second then resumes speed. It does this between one and 6 times in 15 miles. What can cause these problems?

2001 pontiac bonneville SSEi 3.8 l supercharged. The car runs smooth for 15-30 min then stalls out. And when you attempt to restart it starts and idles up and down. And dies after 30 sec. With no check...

I have a 2000 Bonneville - I had a problem with the car stalling out - then it did not want to start back up. (When it did it would idle up and down and then die) I changed out the mass air flow sensor - now I have not had a problem. Good luck with it.
