How do I replace P0540 on a 2002 Silverado HD2500 Duramax Diesel?

p0540 is a OBDll code and codes cannot replaced. P0540 is an OBDll code and all are available online free.
google P0540 for more info or copy and paste

2005 GMC Sierra Duramax 6.6 Changed air filter, oil and fuel. 20 mins of driving and lost all power. Code reads only P0299. Not sure what to check first

code p 0299 refers to turbo/supercharger ---low boost=== causes --- mechanical fault
check for all turbo hoses tight , inter cooler not split or has a hole in it

2002 duramax ?????? What make , model ???? Chevy - GMC which transfer case , how many buttons on the control switch or is it a dial ? These system's have electronic control modules , can set DTC'S -diagnostic trouble codes . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop.

P1093: Fuel pressure low during power enhancement

Check the oil and see if it smells like diesel. Sounds like an injector stuck open.
The LB7 trucks have injector warranty extended to 200k, so I would think about calling the dealer.
