check for lose, or broken conections also check battery cable ends for corrosion which can cause a poor conection at the battery clean and retighten as necessary. hope this helps!
hi. it could be listed as a tie-rod end, or tie-bar end. it may also be shown as a stabiliser bar.
you may find you have to buy the complete rod as some of the ends were not removable. it may be worth asking the mot tester is he knows what they are called
okay the dealer may be right,the wiring sometimes breaks from opening and closing trunk,the trunk release operates on the same power as door locks, if door locks work its not a fuse,check the wiring harness in the trunk near hinge, this system is a complex one,so if you dont see a broken wire in the harness,(you will have to untape the wiring to see every wire) have a tech check the system.
dont think it will be relay,more like an electrical fault with a pressure sensor switch or the motor that pressurises the system .This will throw out the computer on the vehicle and too find the fault will require merc software because this is regarded as safety and therefore its encrypted.
On the side of your transmission will be a switch with several wires
coming out of it. This is your reverse switch that turns on your
reverse lights and most likely needs to be replaced. The switch is just plug and play
